During daytime rush hours, walking is often twice as fast as driving due to dense vehicular traffic.
Noise levels along Soi 21 reflect its status as a busy corporate main road: vehicle traffic noise is present throughout the day and early evening. However, unlike adult nightlife strips such as Soi 4 or Soi 11, music-driven nightlife noise subsides significantly after midnight, making hotels set slightly back from the main road surprisingly peaceful for evening sleep.
